<p>You only need to reduce your calorie intake by 100 calories per day to make a substantial effect on your weight over the period of the year.</p>
<p>This is a very manageable weight loss goal for almost everybody and it is not too difficult to cut back by that amount, however many of the weight loss programs are recommending considerably more reduction in calories making it very difficult to maintain and as a result of this many people are failing to achieve what they start out to do.</p>
<p>Now when you combine the fact that you only need to reduce calories by that much, with additional supplementation of vitamins and minerals that can help your overall health, you can see how you can stay nutritionally balanced throughout the whole weight loss process and not feel as though you are starving yourself.</p>

<p>Most of the time when people are looking at <strong>losing weight</strong>, they are really looking for a miracle cure or quick fix that will help them lose that extra twenty or thirty pounds.</p>
<p>Typically people want to <em>avoid any hard work</em> in hopes of effortlessly <strong>losing weight quickly</strong>.  Most of these quick weight loss diets that are supposed to remove pounds per day really don&#8217;t work and are not healthy in the long run.</p>
<p>Many of these diets are not entirely safe and <strong>focus on almost starving you</strong> for a short period of time just to attempt to drop a few pounds per day.  The thought is that if you can make it through a few days of hunger, then you can <strong>drop the weight</strong>.</p>
<p><em><strong>Even if pounds come off, is this actually working?</strong></em></p>
<p>For short term diets, most of the time all you are really losing is water weight.  After you start eating and drinking water as you normally do, all of this weight will come back negating any loss that you thought you might have had.</p>
<p>Another factor in starvation based diets is that you end up <em><strong>losing about as many pounds in muscle as you do in fat</strong></em>.  The big issue with this is that the less muscle that you have, the less calories your body will burn in it&#8217;s natural state.  Losing muscle is a horrible strategy for losing weight since after the diet is over it will be much easier to gain back the weight and end up being harder to get off after wards.</p>
<p>If there was a simple proven way to stay fit and thin without fairly disciplined eating and some exercise, everyone would be thin.  It is best to stop looking for shortcuts and start working on <strong>proven diet plans</strong> that you know will get you results over the long term.</p>
<p>Too many people want to have a <em>quick and easy weight loss diet</em>.  The problem is, the majority of these fad diets  do not actually work very well and will ultimately leave you worse off in the long run.</p>

<p><strong>Smoked Salmon Salad: (Quick &amp; Easy)</strong><br />
Serves 4 | 487kJ | 3g fat | 8g carbs | Per Serving</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong><br />
½ cucumber, cut into ribbons<br />
1 bunch watercress<br />
1 bunch of spring onions, shredded<br />
1 small yellow pepper, thinly sliced<br />
200g smoked salmon, cut into strips<br />
1 lemon, cut into wedges</p>
<p><strong>Low-Fat Dressing</strong><br />
100ml fat free yoghurt<br />
1 tbsp Dijon mustard<br />
1 tbsp clear honey<br />
2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley</p>
<p><strong>Method:</strong><br />
Combine the dressing ingredients, season well and set aside in the fridge until needed.<br />
Do all the chopping in advance and assemble at the last minute.  Divide the cucumber, watercress, spring onion and pepper among four plates.<br />
Top with the salmon and place a wedge of lemon on the side.<br />
Drizzle the dressing over and serve.</p>

<p>Serves 4|1785kJ|18g fat|10g carb|per serving</p>
<p>2tbsp olive oil</p>
<p>750g very lean stewing steak, cut into large chunks</p>
<p>2 red onions, cut into thick wedges</p>
<p>2 red peppers, cut into thick slices</p>
<p>1 yellow pepper, cut into thick slices</p>
<p>600g ripe plum tomatoes, quartered</p>
<p>2 tbsp tomato paste</p>
<p>300ml red wine</p>
<p>150g mixed olives, drained</p>
<p>6 tbsp roughly chopped fresh oregano</p>
<p>2 heads garlic, halved</p>
<p><strong>Method:</strong></p>
<p>Preheat oven to 190?C</p>
<p>Heat the oil in a flameproof roasting tin.</p>
<p>Brown the beef in batches over a medium-high heat for 5min, then set aside</p>
<p>In the same pan, fry the onions and peppers for 5 min</p>
<p>Add remaining ingredients and 150ml water, season to taste</p>
<p>Cover with foil, bake for 1 hour.</p>
<p>Remove foil and bake further for 1 hour</p>
<p>Scatter with extra oregano leaves and serve with masses of vitamin packed veggies</p>

<p>Knowing which fat burning rules to break will give you better chance of losing the weight you would like to lose and keep it off.</p>
<p><strong>1. Using certain items to “motivate” you will sometimes simply not work!</strong></p>
<p>Having a size 2 pair of jeans in your closet might seem like a good way to <strong>motivate</strong> yourself towards your <strong>weight loss goals.</strong> However, let us face it for most people this is just depressing and frustrating.  Especially, if you currently wearing size 10 clothes.</p>
<p>The better way is to get rid of anything that does not fit.  Next step is to <strong>stop weighing</strong> yourself every day.   If you are exercising, as you should, you are building muscles.   Muscles weigh much more than fat, therefore the scale may become your enemy and might trip you to give up your weight loss journey.</p>
<p><strong>2. Cut out all your love (junk) food in your life.</strong></p>
<p>If you have bad eating habits, cutting out these habits, is a sure way to fall right back into them.  When the cravings kick in, you will simply be too frustrated to continue with any fat burning diet.</p>
<p>Instead, break this rule.  Cut back on your calories and watch what you eat, but allow yourself to have sweets and other bad food a few times a week, gradually continuing to cut back until you don’t need those foods any longer.</p>
<p><strong>3. Cutting out one food group or another in general.</strong></p>
<p>You need proteins, even if you are a vegetarian.  You need carbohydrates, even if you do go on the Atkins diet.  You even need fats, even if you are overweight.</p>
<p>All the nutrients in your body have to work together on a daily basis to regulate your body’s function, and cutting out completely one link to that chain will ruin your entire health.  Instead, learn which foods to eat in moderation and follow that rule instead.</p>
<p><strong>You are in control of your life.</strong> Question weight loss rules that you come across.  It is far better to do that than to follow rules that you will entice you to break them. <strong>We are all unique human beings.</strong> One rule may work for you but not for me.  The secret is to find fat burning diets that will allow you to be what you are and at the same time guide you to a healthy new lifestyle change.</p>

<p> I have been studying nutrition information for years trying to find the best diet that burns fat, but it wasn&#8217;t until I stumbled across the results with personal experimentation in 2006 that I finally figured out the best way to burn fat with dietary changes. </p>
<p> In the past, I had tried high-carbohydrate diets (in the early 1990&#8217;s), high-protein diets (in the late 1990&#8217;s), and low-carbohydrate diets (in the early 2000&#8217;s). Each of them worked well for burning fat, but all had their drawbacks. The high-carbohydrate diet helped me lose body fat, but required a lot of exercise and also made me tired. The high-protein diet worked for fat loss, but required extra water intake. And the low-carbohydrate diet helped me burn belly fat, but I also had some tiredness on this program as well. </p>
<p> It wasn&#8217;t until I finally combined the best of all three diet plans into one that I experienced the best fat burning results, allowing me to go from my usual 10% body fat down to 8-9% body fat consistently. Plus, I was able to train at a very high-intensity, and was at my peak strength and fitness levels. In fact, some days I was able to train with clients as well, and do two workouts in one day because I had so much mental and physical energy. </p>
<p> The best diet that burns fat does not eliminate any nutrient. You could almost say that it is high in protein, carbohydrates, and fat. You take the best of the high-carbohydrate diet &#8211; an unlimited amount of fruits and vegetables &#8211; and combine that with the best of the high-protein diet and the high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet. For protein, you can eat omega-3 eggs, nuts, chicken, organic beef, and beans. For fat, you&#8217;ll get plenty of healthy fats from fish oils, the Omega-3 eggs, and the nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, and walnuts). As you can see, the best fat burning diet is the high-whole, natural foods diet. Forget about anything from a bag or a box. </p>
<p> There are many things you need to remove to make this the best fat burning diet for weight loss. The first thing to remove is sugar, but that doesn&#8217;t make any fat burning diet. Sugar is a no-no for weight loss. Then you need to eliminate all the processed carbohydrates such as bread, breakfast cereals, granola bars, and pretzels &#8211; even if you think those are healthy, they don&#8217;t make the best fat loss diet &#8211; sorry! </p>
<p> You also need to eliminate protein sources such as processed meats, hot dogs, and hamburgers. Forget about the junk. Quit justifying it because you are the Atkins diet or because you are a bodybuilder that needs protein. The truth is you can survive without it, and if you want the best fat burning diet, that&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll have to do. </p>
<p> Finally, not all fat is bad fat, but you do need to eliminate all the Trans-fats from your diet. That should be easy if you get rid of all the processed foods, and avoid junk food. </p>
<p> At the end of the day, you are only left with fat burning foods that are in their non-modified form. If it didn&#8217;t look like that in nature, it doesn&#8217;t belong on your plate. That&#8217;s why bread and breakfast cereals don&#8217;t make the cut. No matter how much whole-wheat is in them, they still have been modified. Stick with fruits and vegetables instead for your carbohydrate sources on the best fat burning diet.<br />

<p>The truth is, many people that are are feeling tired of hearing the same old song and dance from these online &#8220;experts&#8221;.  Some bozo with a fantastic body arrives out of nowhere with the latest, greatest fat burning diet, sells a few thousand copies and rides off into the sunset.</p>
<p>The trouble with many of these diet plans is that many poor folks will actually see a short term weight loss only to gain every ounce of fat back over the next several weeks or months, PLUS a few pounds to spare! A lot of these plans were just not meant to be a <strong>long term solution</strong>, particularly for those people that are morbidly obese.</p>

<p>The more muscle your body has it naturally burns more calories during your body&#8217;s resting state. The higher your body&#8217;s fat percentage the slower your metabolism will be.</p>
<p><strong>Don&#8217;t skip your breakfast.</strong> As soon as you first arise in the morning, your body has just completed an 8 hour fast. After enduring such a time span without nutrients, your body enters a catabolic (muscle wasting) state and starts breaking down protein. <strong>This is an important time to eat some much needed nutrition ASAP!</strong> <em>A healthy breakfast is critical to any successful fat-burning diet. </em></p>
<p><strong>Consume a meal every 2 to 3 hours.</strong> This means that you will be eating a meal 5 to 6 times a day. Not only will this kind of meal regime stimulate muscle maintenance and fat loss, it is also an essential technique for controlling food cravings.</p>
<p>You see, when people miss a meal, or neglect eating for a while, their blood sugar plummets, and their<em> will power becomes weak</em>. In other words, people who go a long time without eating are much more likely to cheat on their diet. Thus, eating every two to three hours will help eliminate those cravings that may be the main reason that you have failed all dieting attempts in the past.</p>
<p>Even if you never get the cravings for food caused by missing meals, you must still be careful. <strong>If you miss meals on a regular basis, your body will actually activate enzymes that store fat.</strong> This will make losing weight much more difficult. So don&#8217;t do it! Eat!</p>
<p><strong>You must reduce your carbohydrate intake.</strong> Your body&#8217;s fuel will be attained from a mixture of carbs, protein and fat. When you reduce your carbohydrate intake, your body&#8217;s stores of carbs will diminish quickly. This creates an effect in your body, and it will use a higher amount of free fatty acids (fat) for fuel.</p>
<p>Cutting down on your carbs will also cause a hormonal fat-burning effect. When you decrease the amount of carbs that you eat, insulin (a storage hormone) is lowered and glycogen (a fuel mobilizing hormone) is raised. This causes a greater number free fatty acids to be released from fat cells and burned, relying on the fact that you&#8217;re working out properly.</p>
<p><strong>Choose compound exercises over isolation exercises.</strong> Compound exercises use more than one muscle across several joints, and isolation exercises attempt to train only one muscle at a time. The advantage of using compound exercises is that you will be training the most muscle in a given amount of time.</p>
<p>Generally, the more muscle you use per exercise, the larger the energy (calorie) demand will be on your body. This in turn, uses more energy, which is definitely good, but it also encourages the body to hold on to its lean muscle during fat burning phases, which helps keep your resting metabolic rate up. In addition, <strong>compound exercises have been shown to stimulate the release of your body&#8217;s natural anabolic hormones.</strong> This further helps you maintain lean muscle.</p>
<p><strong>Be accountable to someone.</strong> If you unable to afford a trainer full-time, hire one to write your <a href="http://www.fatburningdietblog.com/fatburningfurnance">diet and exercise programs</a> for you and monitor your progress. You may only need to be in contact with your trainer once a month, but having them there will offer you someone you are accountable to on a continual basis. This will help you stay focused.</p>
<p>If you can&#8217;t, or don&#8217;t want to work with a trainer, attempt to find someone to work out with. This will make you more committed to exactly when and where you will be working out.</p>
<p>There will be less missed workouts, and you&#8217;ll have more consistency in the gym and your workouts in general. If this is impossible or undesirable to you, attempt to find one good friend who totally backs you, and who doesn&#8217;t mind you calling them up every few days and reporting your progress.</p>
<p>It may seem like your friend is almost like a sponsor in an AA meeting at times, but in saying this, that&#8217;s not such a terrible thing to possess in your life when you&#8217;re trying to lose weight. This is even more important when you&#8217;re continually in the company of people who don&#8217;t care about what they eat.</p>
