Dear Diary,

Recently my mirror and scale confronted me with the fact that I’m overweight. What? Me? Shocked and rattled I took a day to take inventory of my life. I realized I need some drastic measures because this body is not me. Well, you guess right I need a fat burning diet.

A look down memory lane reveals that I was always a skinny child.  With any meal, I was always the last to finish. Most of the time I did not even finish my plate and my mother out of pure frustration let me leave the table.  Eating was just not high on my priority list. This nostalgia of a happy, carefree life is now urging me to take stock and change my life with a fat burning diet.

Even after the birth of my two children, I had still a good figure. Well, not a beauty pageant figure, but that never bothered me.  Just as long as I can go to a shop and get well fitting clothes that shows all the necessary curves everything was honky dory.

groenteDear Diary, you know what they say, desperate times needs desperate measures. I need desperate measures to get me out off this deep, black pit.  I need to rethink why food, the mirror, my clothes and the scale suddenly became my worst enemy.  I need to retrain my mind and body with strategies from a fat burning diet.

Yes, Dear Diary, I’m on track. I’m setting goals with my fat burning diet. I’m seeing the end result to walk into any boutique and get myself that daring, figure hugging, creation.

For success with any fat burning diet, the following is essential:
1    Setting Weight Goals.
How does one set weight loss goals? The following questions helped me to focus on that I want to achieve but also on what changed in my life.
Why do I want to lose weight?
What are the negative aspects of being overweight?
What are the positive aspects of being slim, fit and healthy?
What is my greatest fear of staying as I am?

2    I need a plan
I’ve set my goals, but how on earth am I going to get there. That figure hugging dress is hangingfiets there.  What steps do I need to fit into that dress? Yes, I need a fat burning diet with fat burning food and fat burning workouts.

3    Action
The next step is to take action. Goals and plans are not going to help if I don’t lift my butt from the couch.  I need to put my plans into action. I won’t see immediate results but just by starting I can expect to gather momentum and pretty soon there will be results. First small, but as the snowball effect kicks in the small successes will lead to bigger ones and eventually a jaw dropping spectacle.

Dear Diary, you always stood with me through thick and thin. Thank you for clearing my mind. I know now that I need a new lifestyle and it is possible with a fat burning diet, positive attitude and the will to conquer this situation.
